The Straßengold exhibition series returns to the Kulturbunker with a thematic focus: in turbulent times, the exhibition is dedicated to political art in an urban context.

Straßengold creates a link between the tension between gallery and public space and presents a broad line-up of local and national artists from the field of urban art. In addition to the seiLeise gallery, the gallery at the Kulturbunker Köln Mülheim is home to one of two thematic focuses.

Visitors are offered the opportunity to immerse themselves in urban art and help shape it at the opening of Mülheimer Nacht.

For a period of one week, Straßengold will occupy the gallery of the Kulturbunker in Mülheim, Cologne's developing trendy district, which is now known for its flourishing art and culture scene.

The exhibition shows a varied spectrum of street artists from all over Germany, promotes local newcomers and is an information point and central contact point for young and old. Straßengold provides information about street art, its characteristics and its self-image. The exhibition is accompanied by an elaborate supporting program.

The exhibition focuses on the urban dynamics of street art, dispenses with restrictive curation and in this way has created a clearly recognizable unique selling point: It is truthful, authentic and grows out of the street itself - as it was brought to life by artists (for artists). Straßengold now shines far beyond Cologne's city limits and has national appeal.
