In the organizer's words:
We present you the silent film series "Berlin 1927-1930" in the Filmforum at Museum Ludwig. Experience the vibrant Berlin of the 1920s with the masterpiece "Berlin. The Symphony of the Big City".
The film will be accompanied live by Matthias Hirth from NewsoundKINO with newly composed film music.
Entertaining film discussions with Prof. Lisa Gotto as well as Stefan Lewejohann offer exciting insights into the making of the film and the time of its creation, moderated by Marie-Anne Schlolaut.
