“Being part of the solution rather than part of the problem—that’s what motivates me personally beyond measure.” A visitor to the “Zamanand” festival in Munich is one of the first people filmmaker and eco-activist Mickel Rentsch meets on his tour. He hooks his homemade living trailer onto his bike and sets off on a journey that will take him across Bavaria—from organic strawberry fields to housing cooperative projects and to people who exemplify sustainable living. On this journey, Rentsch is open to encounters and exchanges—because he can’t make it up a mountain on his own when pulling the bike trailer. Charming, full of positive energy and inspiration.
