Do you like manga and want to create your own character? Then my course is perfect for you!
We’ll take a quick look at the history of manga, and I’ll show you how to design characters—from facial expressions and colors to clothing, hair, and accessories. We’ll be drawing and painting on paper; materials will be provided (feel free to bring your own pencils).
Come on your own or bring your friends!
For: Children ages 8 to 12 (children with disabilities are also welcome)
Course instructor: Daniela Thewald (art educator)
Additional sessions will take place on October 16, November 13, and December 18.
