"Resist Academia" by Tarah-Tanita Truderung examines strategies of resistance for students with experiences of racism at German universities. The work offers an anti-racist and feminist analysis of the German higher education landscape and presents practical strategies for self-organization and the creation of safe learning spaces.

The author, herself an Afro-German, Black (former) student, combines theoretical knowledge with a political stance that emphasizes the legitimacy of self-defense.

She calls for a radical challenge to the hegemonic and colonial academic system and encourages people with experiences of racism to organize themselves and strive for a transformation of the higher education landscape that has so far excluded their voices and life realities.
