November 2026 marks the tenth anniversary of Leonard Cohen’s death. ForTEX, this isn’t a reason for a memorial event, but rather for concerts: performing songs that still resonate today—directly, without pathos, in small venues.

“Tex Sings Leonard Cohen” is a solo tour in small clubs: intimate, direct, without distance. Just voice and guitar. No big production, no tribute show with costumes and sets—but a personal take on songs that have been carrying people through crises and transitions for decades.

TEX is known to many as the founder and host ofTV Noir. Since 2008, he has created a space there where artists can make music without noise or pretense: stripped-down, attentive, authentic. It is precisely this attitude that also shapes his stage work as a musician. TEX has been touring German-speaking countries since the late ’90s, has released his own albums, and, through countless concerts, has developed a sound that is clear, present, and unadulterated.

What makes this project special is that TEX approaches Cohen not as a legend, but as a songwriter. And he does so from the perspective of a musician who has himself been writing, playing, doubting, and starting anew for decades.
