One day, Count Ulverstone enters the workshop of the talented violin maker Amati. He asks him to make him an unusual violin - an enchanted one - so that the count can impress the ladies as a virtuoso violinist. So Amati finally asks a forest witch and a powerful demon for help to make the count's wish come true.

But the plan goes awry and now the violin maker must fear for his beloved daughter.
