The goings-on

Change, transition, and transformation are the cornerstones of life. In fact, every moment holds the potential for change, transition, and the unfolding of something new. By existing mindfully, we create new perspectives moment by moment and continue to evolve.

“The Goings-on” explores this journey through the experiences of two seasoned artists. Their movement is both a reflection and an act of becoming—each gesture embodies the ongoing process of discovery, expression, and transformation. This work is not only about what is performed, but also about the lived process behind it: the essence of change and transition is woven into every rehearsal, every encounter with the music, and every repetition of the piece. With each performance, this journey is shared anew with the audience.

At the heart of this experience is the music of Keith Jarrett, whose improvisational virtuosity lends the work a deeply intimate and nostalgic resonance. Like the choreography, his music moves in the space between structure and spontaneity, between memory and the unknown.
