Julie (Renate Reinsve), a bookseller and author, is certainly not the worst person in the world, but she is moody and erratic—which has a noticeable impact on those around her. Julie is in a relationship with Aksel (Anders Danielsen Lie), an older, 44-year-old comic book artist. He would like to start a family with her, but for Julie, that’s out of the question. At a party, she meets Eivind (Herbert Nordrum), who is young and full of energy. Like Julie, he doesn’t want to have children. This marks the beginning of a romance that unfolds quite differently than either of them had imagined at the start...
