»Tove Jansson: ›Das Sommerbuch‹« SommerLese mit Xenia Tiling
In the organizer's words:
SummerReading
Tove Jansson
A small island in the Finnish archipelago, a summer full of wind, light and conversation: Tove Jansson's "Summer Book" is one of the great Nordic classics of the 20th century, and generations of readers in Finland and Sweden associate this book with an attitude to life - the summers of the north, the freedom of the simple life and the quiet melancholy of parting. At the center: six-year-old Sophia and her grandmother, who spend weeks together on an island: They argue, tell stories, talk about fear, death and happiness (Lübbe // Engl. by Birgitta Kicherer). The actress Xenia Tiling, whose unmistakable voice can be heard in the reading stations of our Moomin exhibition, will read excerpts.
