TUF mit “Die Kapelle ISJUUTSO”

These are five musicians who together have achieved cult status in the reggae scene beyond the city limits of Aachen in well over 25 years.
True to the motto "We're not afraid of anything...", the band interprets hits and evergreens from a wide variety of styles and gives them a first-class upcycling.
With a line-up consisting of two guitars, a double bass, a trombone, percussion and polyphonic vocals, the five transform world-famous songs (e.g. hits by Bowie, Amy Winehouse, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Radiohead,...) into incomparable reggae and ska versions.
The unusual interactions between the audience and frontman Meikel ("The Long Meikel") are an integral part of TUF's stage show.

Meikel, a native Öcher, has recently made it his mission to keep the endangered Platt language alive in reggae. His new formation "DIE KAPELLE ISJUUTSO" will be warming up the audience at Burg Frankenberg on 17.07.26 as the support act for TUF.
