Open-air concert //
Uwe Banton is one of the defining voices of German-language Conscious Reggae. Since the 1980s, he has combined soulful vocals with political messages and deeply rooted roots vibes - whether as a solo artist or as part of an international exchange. With his current project Tazama Mashariki, a collaboration with artists from Africa, the Caribbean and Europe, he is building bridges both musically and in terms of content - for a togetherness between spirituality, attitude and global sound.
