Between A and B, setting off and arriving, start and finish, photographer Johannes Haas explores the connections themselves: paths in nature. Sometimes made of fine gravel, sometimes with bumpy roots, here winding, rarely straight, rather overgrown or well-trodden. New perspectives for landscape photography, in which the horizon is deliberately left out, open up the view for the close-up and the essential, which is usually overlooked. "I'd like to go that way right now," he often thinks on his forays - and he often has his camera with him.
Johannes Haas, born in 1966, works as a freelance photographer and photo artist in Cologne and lives with his family in Rösrath-Hoffnungsthal.
