In the organizer's words:
How does “seeing” change when we allow internal and external sensations to blend together?
In Henrike Fechler’s works, the natural landscape becomes a projection surface for the sensually experienced world—in them, impressions of the landscape merge with psychological perceptions to form shimmering spaces of color that remain in constant motion.
The images become mementos of places, of balmy summer breezes, of encounters with a heron by the lake and humming bumblebees in the lavender.
We see ourselves as a charity gallery.
Through the sale of the paintings, we donate a fixed percentage to a nonprofit organization in consultation with the exhibiting artist. In this case, the proceeds go to the Münster Nature Conservation Association (NABU).
At NABU Münster, more than 10 working groups are dedicated to the conservation of nature. The individual working groups—ranging from agricultural landscapes to wetland habitats and bird conservation—offer a forum through their regular meetings for
