VKK Live - ROMA DESERTA und TOELKE

* ROMA DESERTA is the solo project of Dennies, who is likely still known to many as a former member of “New Days Delay” and is currently also active with “Ghosts Of Dawn.” Musically, ROMA DESERTA moves between post-punk, dream pop, and ’80s new wave, blending these influences with elements of alternative, psychedelic, and indie to create a unique, multifaceted sound.

With ROMA DESERTA, Dennies is currently performing his songs live as a solo artist. A distinct artistic voice, atmospheric depth, and stylistic openness define the project.

Claudius Tölke is a musician and lyricist who, in addition to his solo projects, has also worked for other artists nationwide 
and continues to do so. In addition, he occasionally works as a music producer and also performs as a musician in many 
theater productions at Theater Bremen, the Shakespeare Company Bremen, the Staatstheater Oldenburg, the 
Landestheater Wilhelmshaven, and the Musicaltheater Bremen. Yet he is always drawn back to the streets 
to establish direct contact with the audience through music.  
Most recently, he collaborated with artist Judith Lena Bartels to develop and 
completed, which bridges the gap between music, visual art, and poetry and is currently being presented in a 
traveling exhibition at various locations.  
This project is now followed by a tour promoting the album of the same name, which he recorded and 
performed.
