Vortrag: Historisches aus der Region "Das glaubt mir keiner!" - persönlicher Blick hinter die Mattscheibe, Cornelia Nossek
In the organizer's words:
For decades, she was a familiar voice and a well-known face in our living rooms. But what happened when the red camera light went out? Cornelia Nossek—known to many as the chief announcer for MDR and from GDR television—takes us on a journey through the history of German television. You’ll learn why a GDR garage became a photo studio for Hamburg’s star photographers, how to maintain composure when meeting politicians, and why some studio situations took on an unexpected dynamic. With self-deprecating humor and a keen eye, she recounts moments of glamour and improvisation, minor mishaps, and major highlights. Her voice is featured in the compendium “Sound of Time”—a permanent place in the history of sound. An evening full of “archival gems,” Saxon warmth—and a very special rescue under rhododendron bushes.
