a musical-theatrical fantasy
In Eastern myths, the wakwak tree grows with fruit hanging from its branches in the shape of human heads and alien beings - from which sounds, laughter, wisdom and apocalyptic prophecies emanate. On a stage that resembles an abandoned greenhouse, two experts in sound and botany examine the tree using theatrical means: Light, fog, audio amplifiers and contact microphones. When the tree resists the sound, their routine actions turn mysterious.
