Wicked: Teil 2

Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) lives in seclusion in the woods and continues her campaign for the rights of oppressed animals. Stigmatized as the "Wicked Witch of the West", she unwaveringly tries to bring the truth about the wizard (Jeff Goldblum) to light. Glinda (Ariana Grande), on the other hand, is seen as a shining symbol of good in the Emerald City. On the instructions of Madame Akaber (Michelle Yeoh), she makes a public appearance to instill confidence in the inhabitants of Oz. The planned wedding to Prince Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey) cements Glinda's reputation, but her separation from Elphaba continues to weigh on her. Her attempt to achieve a reconciliation between her former friend and the wizard fails - the rift deepens. Moq (Ethan Slater), Fiyero and Elphaba's sister Nessarose (Marissa Bode) also find themselves in an increasingly threatening situation. A girl from Kansas further upsets the balance. When an angry mob turns against Elphaba, a decision becomes unavoidable. Only if Glinda and Elphaba meet one last time will there be a chance to influence the fate of Oz.
