Once upon a time, there was an old man named Pettersson. He was often so lonely that in the mornings he would have loved to pull the blanket over his head and just disappear. Until his neighbor brought him a cardboard box. Inside was a kitten so small that it fit in Pettersson’s hand. Every evening, he read stories to him. Finally, he had someone to talk to—someone who listened to him! And one day, the moment came: the kitten spoke his first words. “I’d like to have a pair of pants like that, too,” said Findus. What a wonderful cat he had!
