Knowledge at 11: NABU Forest Garden—An Oasis for People and Animals

In February 2023, a barren thuja monoculture on a NABU property was cleared, and work began on creating a forest garden. The transformation has been a success: lush vegetation is now thriving there. The diverse plants and newly created habitats attract animals, which now find food and shelter here. A little paradise has been created!
During guided tours of the site, people of all ages learn about the project and are encouraged to try something similar in their own gardens or to get involved with NABU as forest gardeners.
