Wochenmarkt Obervieland
In the organizer's words:
The Obervieland weekly market takes place every Wednesday and Friday in the center of the Kattenturm district. On the Kattenturm market square right next to the Obervieland town hall, traders sell fruit and vegetables, meat and sausage specialties as well as a fishmonger from Bremerhaven. The market is complemented by vendors selling non-food items such as textiles, leather goods and household goods.
In the 19th century, Obervieland was home to stone setters and road builders, but today it is one of the most populous districts with a diverse population. And of course they also want to enjoy fresh, locally produced food - like that from the Obervieland weekly market.
