Wolken über Lützerath Film

On September 12, the film "Clouds Over Lützerath" will be shown as an open-air screening in front of the Karlstorkino!
It actually happens every day; it’s just that sometimes it becomes so visible that you can’t miss it: People are living democracy. Filmmaker Lukas Reiter actively documented one of the clearest examples of this in recent years with his camera over the course of six months: He accompanied Blinker, Ronni, and Kathrin Henneberger in their fight to save the last village in Germany slated for demolition to make way for lignite mining: Lützerath. But this wasn’t “just” about a “village.” It was about climate justice, politics, the media—and, as is so often the case—the very big pitted against the very small. 
A film about anger, resistance, hope, and a perspective that assures us: Lützi lives on, even if the village is no longer standing!
