WORKSHOP:

Ceramic Flowers—Fleeting Beauty in a Lasting Form

In this one-day workshop, you’ll create unique ceramic objects with delicate floral decorations in just one four-hour session. Under the guidance of artist OLGA PFEFFER, you’ll learn step by step how to craft lifelike flowers, leaves, and floral elements from fine paperclay. Paperclay is a particularly fine, pliable clay that is ideal for detailed, realistic forms. This allows you to precisely craft delicate petals, fine leaf structures, and three-dimensional floral ornaments.
The modeled elements are applied directly to a ceramic object of your choice—for example, a small bowl, vase, or other decorative object. You will then add color to your creation and give it your personal touch.
The course is suitable for adults and teenagers ages 12 and up.
