WORKSHOP ON THE FILM *SORRY FOR THE GENOCIDE*
Following the screening of *Sorry for the Genocide*, director Theodora Shandé will lead an in-depth workshop. A quiz and group discussions will explore key questions raised by the film: How can film be a form of resistance? How do we remember when silence prevails? And what does it mean that this history is also part of German history? Together, we’ll discuss the significance of this knowledge in times of racism, right-wing violence, and colonial continuities.
Film: English with German subtitles
Workshop: German. For students in 9th grade and above.
