Musical dialog for violin and accordion: On July 4, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
Maximiliane Wilms and Tetiana Muchychka in the Karthäuserkirche Cologne. The
The program includes works by Bach, Rachmaninov, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Galliano
and Piazzolla. The two musicians can be heard both as soloists and as a duo.
Maximiliane Wilms is a violinist and chamber musician and has been a member of the
Ankara State Opera as part of the first violin section. In 2024, she completed her master's degree in violin
with distinction summa cum laude at the New Bulgarian University in Sofia with Mario
Hossen. She has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and interpreter of new music in
various European concert formats and in 2023 was accepted into the
Richard Wagner Scholarship Foundation in 2023.
Tetiana Muchychka, born in the Ukraine, studied accordion with Mie Miki at the Folkwang
University of the Arts in Essen and is currently completing her concert exam there. She is a
scholarship holder of the DAAD and the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation, among others.
Concert engagements have taken her to major stages in Germany and internationally;
She has performed at Best of NRW and the Palermo Classica Festival, among others.
