A professional killer in the clutches of pensioner life

New operators take over the Leonardo retirement home in Berlin, and prices rise dramatically. Those who can't pay are ruthlessly forced out. A few defiant residents hire freelance professional killer Jo Brenner to help them get rid of the greedy management. But Brenner himself has been on the hit list since a botched job - after all, he didn't have the heart to liquidate a millionaire real estate shark in front of the sad eyes of his dachshund. Brenner is sure that his agent has already set another killer on him. And soon more fellow killers appear at the Leonardo who really do have it in for him ...

Angelika Niestrath trained as a bookseller, worked for children's book publishers and made a name for herself as an expert in staging merchandise, as a curator and with international trade fair projects. Andreas Hüging worked as a musician, lyricist and composer in Hamburg before he started writing. He has released numerous CDs and toured Europe and the USA with bands. Today, both write for children and adults.
