30 Jahre YELLOW UMBRELLA

Dresden's reggae & ska heroes are back with a new program, new album and new suits.

Tirelessly on the road since 1994, the band has earned a legendary reputation as a party guarantee far beyond the scene. Originally founded in Dresden, the band members now come from France, Spain, the USA and Germany and live in Dresden, Leipzig and Reims (France). However, the Regenschirme not only have their hearts in the right place musically, but also politically: in the dark winter of 2014/2015, the band took a stand against the xenophobic Pegida movement at rallies and with their song "No Pegida" (together with Trettmann).

Their latest album "Hooligans Of Love", released on the renowned Berlin label "Pork Pie", once again breaks all genre boundaries with its wild mix of reggae, ska, rocksteady, dub, klezmer, jazz and Balkan. It's fresh, extremely danceable and musically at the highest level. An evening with Yellow Umbrella is a holistic pleasure for the heart, brain, eyes and feet!
