Therese Hämer - Appetite for good books
Actress and speaker Therese Hämer reads from six new publications. These include the ironic social novel of the year and winner of the German Book Prize, a surreal fairy tale about the power of the gaze and female desire, two masterpieces in which memories are brought to life against the backdrop of historical upheavals. And also something to laugh and smile about: the funniest road movie the world has seen since Tschick and one of the most subtly funny stories that shows how difficult it is to "just live" when you are constantly getting bogged down ...
Be curious and be entertained - and inspired by what literature can do: tell the truth through invention and fiction!
Therese Hämer made her debut at the Münchner Kammerspiele and was voted up-and-coming actress by theater heute. She has performed at the Schillertheater Berlin, the Schauspielhaus Bochum, the Schauspiel Bonn & the Residenztheater Munich, among others.
She has been in front of the camera for many years and is known from crime scenes,
"Polizeiruf 110", "Stromberg", the Ruhr area comedies "Schnitzel geht
Schnitzel geht immer", major TV films such as "Der Club der singenden Metzger",
"Ramstein - the pierced heart". She plays the leading role in the
new ZDF series "Unterm Apfelbaum". And can be seen in the movie Crash alongside Anna Maria Mühe.
She is a passionate speaker of radio plays and audio books and for lit.COLOGNE and performs her own readings:
"Moments of happiness - on the trail of happiness in literature"
"Charlotte Salomon - it's my whole life"
