Albanian Film Festival Köln

From September 26–29, Filmhaus Köln will host the first edition of the Albanian Film Festival Köln, an initiative of ABC Book Club Köln.
Over four days, the festival brings a curated selection of Albanian cinema to Cologne, featuring internationally acclaimed films, short films, and stories reflecting diverse perspectives from Albania and its diaspora.
The festival opens on September 26 at 6:45 PM, followed by *Everybody Calls Redjo* at 7:00 PM and *Hive* at 9:30 PM.
On September 27, the program continues with *Heaven Has Been Fooled* + *Balkan Bazar* at 3:00 PM, *Wo/Men* at 5:00 PM, and *Chamomile* + *Zana* at 9:00 PM.
On September 28, *Shame and Money* screens at 9:00 PM. The festival closes on September 29 with *The News* + *Waterdrop* at 7:00 PM and *Antimuseum* + *Luna Park* at 9:00 PM.
In addition to the screenings, other cultural activities and discussion sessions are planned.
The festival is a self-funded, community-organized initiative that grew out of ABC Book Club Köln, creating a space to celebrate Albanian film, culture, and storytelling in Cologne.
