Who hasn’t experienced them? Those moments when your pulse races and your heart pounds. Taking the plunge for that first kiss? Jumping off the 10-meter board? Telling your boss what you really think? Speaking uncomfortable truths? In short: moments when everything is on the line. With their new show “So kurz davor,” the five singers go all out and celebrate life in all its facets in their own poetic way: humorous, melancholic, philosophically inquisitive, and self-assured. Anders presents a spectacular a cappella show with an unmistakable pop sound, authentic songs, and a connection with the audience that’s second to none. The show’s title, “So kurz davor,” is therefore less of a self-description and more of a promise. With “So kurz davor,” the Freiburg-based group proves once again that they can already hold their own against the scene’s biggest names.

They are Germany’s a cappella German poets. Their style: catchy melodies and intelligent lyrics. Anders write smart pop songs in German that take the a cappella performance form seriously and are more than just instrument-imitating cover songs
of current chart hits or nostalgic songs about the plants on the balcony. With this, they thrill their audience not only at their own concerts but also as the opening act for bands like Revolverheld or Thees Uhlmann.
ANDERS are winners of the 2020 St. Ingberter Pfanne (Audience Award & Special Award from the Minister of Culture), the 2019 Vokal.total Festival in Graz (1st Prize in the POP category), and the 2019 SoLaLa A Cappella Festival in Solingen (Jury Prize & Audience Choice Award). In 2019, ANDERS received the CARA Award in the U.S. for their album “Viel Lärm um dich” as the Best European A-Cappella Album. They also won first prize at the 2024 Aarhus Vocal Festival and were awarded the 2024 Baden-Württemberg Cabaret Prize’s Promotion Award.
