Anja Lechner and Sissel Vera Pettersen are united by their curiosity about the musical spaces between composition and improvisation. Since their first meeting at the Trondheim Chamber Music Festival in 2024, the cellist and the singer and saxophonist have been continually developing their collaboration. Meredith Monk and the Norwegian pianist and composer Jon Balke wrote new works for the duo in 2026, which will have their German premiere at schwere reiter.
A concert in which cello, voice, saxophone, and live electronics come together in a shared musical dialogue.
