Attention, independent art scene, artists, colleagues, friends, companions, supporters, and fans:

Five years ago, we moved—from the old industrial hall to our own new space with four sheet-pile walls. We’d like to celebrate that!

The three partners ofschwere reiter—TANZTENDENZ, PATHOS theater, and scope—a venue for contemporary music—are therefore inviting you to join us for a celebration. With a dash of nostalgia, a bit of pride, and a large dose of gratitude, we’d like to look back on the past and toast—with great anticipation—to what lies ahead. And we’d like to do it with you all!

OnSeptember 21, 2026,we’ll open our doors at6:00p.m., whileStephan Herwig—dancer , choreographer ,and member of TANZTENDENZ—welcomes everyonewith a dynamic physical installation.

This will be followed by the official welcome reception, complete with a buffet, before the Munich brass quartetTetra Brasstreats us to a performance and thepartygets underway in the foyer.
