Annika Büsing "Magisch"

Noch niemand hat sich das Event gemerkt.

In the organizer's words:

Magisch is back. Of course, with a job that isn’t entirely legal, and of course, right in the middle of the sweltering heat of late summer. And everything feels just like it did in their heyday, when Marie and Magisch first became close friends and then first loves. More than fifteen years have passed, and now they’re sitting down by the dirt road near the horse paddock, in the shade of the bushes, drinking Fanta-Korn as if they’d never been away. But Andi, Marie’s brother, is still there too—he never actually left—and he’s now in the party and still dangerous. When Magisch is threatened, the time has come for Marie to reexamine the issue of the firewall within her own family.

Annika Büsing, born in1981, liveswith her family in Bochum and teaches at a high school. Her debut novel, *Nordstadt* (2022), has won numerous awards and, like *Koller* (2023), has been adapted for the stage.
