Aus voller Kehle für die Seele
In the organizer's words:
Singing for Everyone
Host, Piano, Vocals:Patrick Bopp
If you love to sing, you’ve come to the right place. And we really do mean everyone: people who sing all the time and everywhere, as well as those who do so only rarely—and even those who are convinced they can’t sing at all. Because this evening has little to do with a traditional choir. Rather, it’s an invitation to sing together, with the focus on fun and camaraderie. Here, you’re free to try things out, play around, and experiment—without any pressure to perform and without fear of singing off-key. We’ll sing without sheet music; the lyrics will be conveniently displayed on the screen.
Patrick Bopp, alias Memphis, was a founding member of the Stuttgart vocal comedy group “Füenf” and serves as the musical host. He leads the singing, conducts, motivates the group, provides backing vocals, and plays the piano. We’ll sing whatever we can sing: from rock and pop songs, schlager hits, folk and children’s songs, to rap and ska, all the way to yodeling—anything that brings joy is allowed. The selection ranges from ABBA to Die Ärzte, from Heino, Elvis, and Rio Reiser to Ed Sheeran and contemporary artists.
The result is a humorous, relaxed evening that quickly puts people at ease and invites them to join in. At the end, attendees leave the hall with a relaxed smile and a sense of lightheartedness that lingers for days. And who knows—maybe one or two personal song requests will even be granted that evening and sung together.
