Acquiring, storing, dissolving. Our possessions are constantly changing, growing in all directions, constantly revealing new holes in what we don't have and enveloping us. Possessions spread to the furthest corners, family treasures are closely guarded or finally auctioned off, contested square meters expand and reduce living space.
The OLDSCHOOL is taking stock. What do I have, what do I need? What do I want to let go of? Where does the lifelong drive to multiply take us, and are there alternatives?
In a performative happening, the life-experienced ensemble examines its possessions and invites us to an encounter between claims to ownership, legacies and poverty in old age. Following the cross-generational production ERSTMAL FÜR IMMER and the guest performance project TEMPTATION, OLDSCHOOL is breaking new ground and performing at various locations in the city with AUSVERKAUF.
