BREMEN IS FUNNY! - That's what Bremen Vier and the makers of the Comedy Club have been adamantly claiming since 2008!

What began as a "beer mat idea" is now, years later, one of the most successful series of events in the north of Germany.

The Comedy Stand-Up Club is not only extremely popular with all audiences, but is now considered an important address in the comedy scene nationwide.
Established comedians from all over Germany and Europe regularly tease our laugh muscles.

In 2008, Christopher Kotoucek, Jens Meinke and Timm Kulke, together with Radio Bremen Vier, founded the Comedy Club Bremen - they didn't always want to travel to Hamburg, Cologne or Berlin to experience good stand-up comedy live. A small idea became a great success.

The "Comedy Night at the Schlachte" kicked off in March 2008, and since then the Comedy Club Bremen has been inviting three comedians from all over Germany every month to make the people of Bremen laugh. Initially in changing locations, the Comedy Club Bremen found its home in the FRITZ Theater from 2011, true to the motto "In Bremen, you go to the cellar to laugh".

One club, one presenter, three comedians and all visitors spend a hilarious evening in a class of its own!
