DAS KINN (FfM) // Special Guest: MÖBELN (MA) // Electro, Postpunk
With his first full-length album "Ruinenkampf" on the Hamburg quality label Bureau B, Das Kinn embarks on a musical tour de force through the ruins of our time.
Using kickboxing phonetics and an electronic armada, it leads us through haunting soundscapes somewhere between DAF, the Kosmische Kurieren and Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel.
Beats on full blast. Bones rattle. The organ plays. Warm synthlines played by cold hands. A saxophone ponders the after. Hymns for the demolition. Music for a solemn demise.
For almost two decades, sound activist Toben Piel has been sending out knocking signs and signal sounds in various constellations from the catacombs around the Frankfurt bank towers. As part of the music performance duo Les Trucs, as co-operator of the tape label MMODEMM and with works for theater and radio.
