ELLiS·D is one of the most exciting new voices on the British post-punk and art-punk scene. The Brighton-based musician blends glam rock, psychedelia, motorik, and punk into a rousing live sound that is as unique as it is energetic.
In 2025, he released his EP “Spill,” featuring the single “Drifting.” This was followed by appearances at festivals such as The Great Escape, Haldern Pop, and Best Kept Secret. Far Out Magazine named him “Live Musician of the Year 2025,” while DIY, Dork, and Far Out have cited him as one of the most exciting acts for 2026.
As the drummer for Fat Dog and with over 150 concerts in 2025 alone, ELLiS·D has also earned a reputation as an extraordinary live performer.
Imagine David Byrne and David Bowie merging in a bizarre scene from an ’80s sci-fi spectacle. And then imagine this new monster wandering into a goth club during the same era. Half glam rock, half neurotic punk, yet absolutely stylistic in its musical carnage. The result is ELLiS·D.
