In the organizer's words:
The Fanfare van de Eerste Liefdesnacht is a colorful and socially conscious Amsterdam street orchestra. For over forty years, they have been making a musical splash wherever they perform—in the Netherlands and far beyond its borders.
With about twenty wind players and four percussionists, they are welcome guests at festivals, theater festivals, and demonstrations for a better world. The band has been a prominent presence at festivals and rallies: from Brittany to Slovenia, from Cuba to Turkey, from climate actions at Schiphol Airport to protests in the occupied Palestinian West Bank.
