"Die stillen Helden vom Ebertplatz" - Baumführung mit Nachglühen

Ebertplatz is a vibrant place, and its quietest and most enduring witnesses tell its story in a very special way: For over 50 years, more than 20 tree species have lived and thrived on Ebertplatz. They have weathered wind, weather, construction sites, and controversies. How do they manage that? And what benefits and significance do trees—and especially urban trees—have for us humans, for the climate, and for biodiversity? The tree expert from the AG Begrünung will take us on an exciting tour of the square to uncover the secrets of its oldest “residents.” The meeting point for the event is, for the first time, at the fountain starting at 6:00 p.m. Afterward, the AG Begrünung invites you to linger and enjoy the summer evening with a small surprise snack and a drink.
