Let yourself be enchanted at Easter: On Saturday, March 27, 2027, at 4:00 pm, the Dresden Kreuzchor invites you to a solemn Easter Vespers in the Kreuzkirche. This over 650-year-old tradition has been attracting visitors from all over the world for centuries - a unique continuity of church music history.

This year, the focus is on the cantata "Trauret, ihr Himmel" (TVWV 1:1414) by Georg Philipp Telemann. As one of the most important composers of the Baroque period, he had a significant influence on the musical world of the 18th century. His cantata is an outstanding example of his ability to unite deep emotionality and baroque splendor and to set the Easter message to music in an impressive way.
