Cologne Comedy Festival presents: THE FUN AVENGERS
"We are all the same! Under this motto, the successful newcomer comedian Tony Bauer presents a mix show with a unique line-up: whether visually impaired, deaf or nourished by the "hose of life" in a backpack - the stand-up comedians Tan Caglar, Timur Turga, Okan Seese, Toby Käp, Ben Schafmeister and Tony Bauer take the audience with them into their everyday lives and humorously open up new perspectives on the lives of people with disabilities. Quick-witted, self-ironic and guaranteed entertaining.
Host and moderator of the evening Tony farmer brings the tenor of the Events on the point: We want to show that alleged weaknesses were never an obstacle, but rather the reason, in order to create unusual! Loosely based on the motto: in the hand of a master, four 5s of spades look like a royal flush!"
Artist Info:
Thehost of the evening is newcomer comedian Tony Bauer .The convinced Duisburger has the so-called short intestine syndrome and is dependent on the nutrient admission by a tube. The self-proclaimed 14-year-old does not let his illness get him down. And that's why his motto is: With humor against it and off to the stage! After drawing attention to himself at several mix shows, he is on tour this year with the 1LIVE HÖRSAAL-COMEDY, among others.
Tan Caglar entertains as stand-up comedian and motivational coach with his active wheelchair "Hurricane" the stages of the country. He knows very well how to combine his handicap with inclusion, wit and irony - which he also shows in his current stage program "Geht nicht gibt's nicht". In his usual amusing manner, Tan uncovers the pitfalls of everyday life and nonchalantly settles the score with the "pedestrians" in the life of a wheelchair driver .
For two years now, Timur Turga has been seeing the world through different eyes. Almost blind and armed with a cane for the blind, he talks humorously about his encounters in everyday life. Sympathetic and confident, he tells how it can happen to lose much of his sight, but not his humor.
You wonder if deaf people can do something with music? How they hear their alarm clock? Or whether they are even allowed to drive a car? With great self-irony and from - for the hearing - an unusual perspective, Okan Seese, together with a sign language interpreter, tells us about his everyday life. Okan takes us into a fascinating world with a strong community, a rich culture and his own expressive language.
Toby Käp: Take self-irony, sarcasm and not shying away from topics that seem too sensitive for others and let it be performed by a person who is up to 50% disabled and doesn't really know his place in society . There are no taboo topics for him: Toby talks about observations of situations, life, things that particularly concern him... and all this from the perspective of a hearing impaired person.
Ben Schafmeister stands for smart and authentic comedy about his Tourette's syndrome or life as a single and writes songs about being different, getting older and the question of the meaning behind everything. Ben combines black humor with razor-sharp timing, unique charm and responsive audience interactions.
The show is organized by the COLOGNE COMEDY FESTIVAL.
