19:00 Sam Gendel, Ethan Braun & Ugné Uma

Saxophonist Sam Gendel from California and singer, lyricist and journalist Ugnė Uma from Lithuania have known each other for a while. Three years ago, they realized the project "Tam Tikri Objektai Erdvėje" (Lithuanian for "Some special objects in space") for the platform Maekusma. The six names of the pieces in this project stand for the letters of the word Saturn and create a sound cosmos that is both fragile and urgent. There are echoes of improvisation, sampling of own recordings and sound designs of the early Yamaha Portasound PSS-290 synthesizer to abstract pop and R&B and refer to a contemplative atmosphere. This setting of sounds, imaginary soundscapes and noises is joined by composer Ethan Braun, who also lives in California. His compositional work aims to structure and shape the already multi-layered spectrum of this music, making it pulsate like a living organism and transforming it into textures that are as dense as they are loose.

Swiss accordionist Anatole Muster redefines the possibilities of his instrument and makes it accessible to a wide audience. In his live performances, he not only plays the traditional button accordion, but also two of his characteristic other instruments: a laptop keyboard and a MIDI-controlled Breathalyzer synthesizer. His global network includes greats such as Louis Cole and the two bassists Hadrien Feraud and Federico Heliodoro. His first albums, "Wonderful Now" in 2024 and "Hopecore" in 2025, have made him and his unusual music popular in many places: the number of streams of his tracks is approaching ten million. Muster is optimistic by nature. He takes complexity in his stride and is determined to create music that actually inspires. He effortlessly travels through laid-back hyperpop, 1980s jazz fusion, hybrid midwest emo, minimalist plugged-in and atmospheric Brazilian jazz.
