After the last Dubylonfabrik Vol. 7 - Fem-Newcomer-Edition, this time we offer an Augsburg sound system and an artist the opportunity to make our Dub-Balloon Room shake.

This time we can present a relatively new sound system from Augsburg: The SubCulture Soundsystem and Macka Dub, also from Augsburg.

The Subculture Soundsystem is an Augsburg-based sound system that emerged from a group of friends.
The members share a passion for sound and music, their main focus is on the musical
musical journey across a variety of genres. The range of styles spans Jamaican, African, South American and European bass culture. For the Dubylonfabrik, however, they will stay true to the classic
Dub- and Steppa remain true. To this end, they will be bringing their sound system - painstakingly designed and built - to the Ballonfabrik to make our living room shake once again. We are really looking forward to it!

M a c k a D u b

Macka Dub is a DJ, producer and instrumentalist.

. The native of Wahlaugsburg plays varied dub and stepper sets with subtle musical influences from ambient, techno or breakbeat. The whole thing is refined with live improvised melodica solos, inspired by the pioneer Augustus Pablo and yet further developed into his very individual style.

The DubylonCrew is us: Elias from IsarBass, Steve from the Ballonfabrik team & Tobi from Bootsmann Soundsystem.

We are the organizers of the currently only Dub- & Steppers event in the city. Of course, we can't do it alone, so a few Ballonfabrik club members support us.

After the closure of the canteen in the Kulturpark West and the difficult phase after Corona, a "dub-free space" has unfortunately developed in the city, which should not be the case in a city of 300,000 inhabitants. They try to offer a stage primarily to regional sound systems, established artists and newcomers. In addition to this main focus, there are also national and international bookings, such as the Berlin Boom Orchestra or Brother Culture for the tenth anniversary edition on December 6th!
