Baroque clarity and jazzy imagination come together in Bach & Corea—Invention, Variation, Inspiration. Samuel Gogniat (vibraphone and percussion) and Mathis Wolfer (recorders), finalists in the 2025 German Music Competition, explore the surprising connections between Johann Sebastian Bach and Chick Corea—two improvisers linked across the centuries by their love of variation and sonic inventiveness.
Through subtly crafted transitions, original arrangements, and space for spontaneous musical moments, the duo re:flact unfolds a poetic dialogue between structure and freedom. An evening that audibly intertwines the past and the present—experimental, communicative, and surprising!
