All good things come in—four—and if the Moers audience has its way, many more besides. For the fourth time, the master’s students in Prof. Lindner’s voice class at the Cologne University of Music and Dance are presenting the New Year’s Concert as part of the city’s concert series. What began as a one-time idea has long since evolved into a cherished tradition: a start to the year filled with magnificent voices, stage charm, and moments of operatic bliss.

With arias and ensembles from opera and operetta, the young singers bring not only grand emotions but also wit, virtuosity, and theatrical spark to the stage. The New Year’s Concert is proof that infectious enthusiasm, soulful melodies, and authentic stage presence form the best foundation for a tradition that we can look forward to anew every year.
