Escht Kabarett - highlights from four programs

Fine humor, sharp satire and absurd comedy: Torsten Schlosser presents Brümmer, Reusch, Zingsheim and Kim.

One show, four stage personalities and lots of funny stories, hosted by Torsten Schlosser. Laura Brümmer, Stefan Reusch, Martin Zingsheim and Illyoung Kim show the absurd comedy of everyday life from different perspectives - from politically sharp to musically rousing to satirically exaggerated.

Laura Brümmer observes everyday chaos with a curious eye. With her keen sense of humor, she finds hidden comedy everywhere, just waiting to be brought to the stage.

Stefan Reusch, known from WDR 2, is not only a satirist, but also a self-declared savior of the world. With razor-sharp powers of observation and dry humor, he exposes the normal madness of our time - clever, subtle and always with a twinkle in his eye.

Martin Zingsheim's recipe for an entertaining evening: bitterly wicked comedy and substantial cabaret spiced up with a pinch of rousing music. And this is done to the delight of the audience in a linguistically clever, profoundly entertaining and wonderfully crazy way.

Ilyoung Kim presents grotesquely funny everyday stories, drawing on his experiences as a German with an Asian appearance. He casually and charmingly entices his audience to look into the abyss together, for example when the genuine Cologne native is mistaken for the North Korean dictator.

Comedian and cabaret artist Torsten Schlosser will host the afternoon.
