Self-staging is an integral part of a society in which attention has become an illusory currency. Display (of art) and self-presentation enter into a synthesis in social media that can lead to very interesting formal
can lead to very interesting manifestations. These themselves become the starting point for a visual exploration and artistic debate.

Recurring conspicuous features in the presentation of artworks led the German-Croatian artist Rob R. Ros to the series "exhibition_ism". Reduced to black and white, roughly rasterized and the presented works replaced by grey surfaces, the focus in the Instagram finds edited in this way is on "exhibition art". Whether this is to be interpreted as a relapse into role clichés thought to have been overcome or as a new self-confidence/self-image remains open. Rob R. Ros lives and works in Cologne.

The exhibition will be on display until May 17, 2024.

Opening hours on May 10, 16 and 17 from 4 to 7 pm,
May 5 from 2 to 5 p.m., closed on Ascension Day
