Farhad Samadzada aka Farhot is an Afghan producer living in Hamburg and founder of Kabul Fire Records. He became known through his long-standing collaboration with the singer and songwriter Nneka, whose albums he produced. But as a solo artist, too, he has long since created his own unmistakable sound at the interface of hip-hop beats and various music-cultural influences. After appearances at the Reeperbahn Festival, for example, Farhot can now be seen on the stages of many clubs and festivals with his current trio. The line-up promises musical energy at its very best. Alongside him on keyboards and sampler, drummer Silvan Strauss, who has mastered all polyrhythmic techniques, and Webster on saxophone ensure a dynamic and diverse sound. In any case, the three of them stand for a unique concert experience that is profound, rousing and danceable for the audience at the same time.
