Rundgang der KHM 2026: Filme von Studierenden (Programm 4)

The film program for Rundgang 2026 presents a total of 42 films by KHM students, which will be shown in 13 program blocks. The lineup includes feature films, documentaries, animations, experimental films, and hybrid forms of cinematic storytelling of varying lengths. The filmmakers will be present at the screenings and will offer insights into the conception and production of their films afterward.

“Garden of Edie”

When little Edie grows up, she wants to become a writer. Twenty years later, Edie Montana—who was raised Catholic—writes a letter to her younger self, telling her how she fulfilled her dream by working as a sex worker alongside her activist art to free up enough time to write. But to do that, she first had to free herself from the dark voices in her head.

“Acupuncture”

In a lost forest, a person driven by a specific goal but unable to act is constantly brought closer to that goal through acupuncture, while at the same time seemingly being driven to the brink of self-destruction.

“Beneath the Night”

“Vang:Mận – Wine:Plum”

The Spirit of Wine: Plum explores the theme of human love, following Trung, who, after breaking up with his lover, waits for 40 minutes every day outside her apartment in the hope that fate will bring them back together. But fate takes many forms.
